Does anybody use a crown on their airbrush. Is it worthwhile getting one. Never used one??

Thanks bob

Haven’t got one and never used one. Can’t see what it would bring to our Hobby useage unless you are planning on working very close up for long periods....others may have other opinions though....For short bursts close up just remove the cap...

My H&S has the "pinch" cap, which is their version. I always remove it.
It once collected a build up of paint that blobbed off onto the model so I haven't used it since. No second chances.

Caps are only there to protect the needle anyway, so as long as I don't go stabbing it into the bench I can live without it.

Wait for a future post where I've dropped the brush and bent the needle.... :smiling5:

Andy,
yep, done that, removed the cap, caught the brush on the edge of the bench. Bent needle, cracked nozzle & a lot of bad language.
Having said that, I still remove the cap for close work....................
