It has been a while since I used my airbrush, so a quick look at my stash for sometying quick to build resulted in a Tamiya T Rex.

A simple kit built and airbrushed in an evening - the longest stage was waiting for some filler to dry!

It was painted freehand using Vallejo Air paints.

Not brilliant but fun, and sometimes a quick, fun project is just the job.

Pete - I keep away from cars, far too hard for me. The last I tried was over 20 years ago. It was a Morgan and I made a real hash of it, junking it halfway through.

Bob - no need for a litter tray, he's fully house trained.

Monica - I expect it was because I was doing something just to practice airbrushing and for fun with no real expectation of the results I was relaxed and it just worked out ok.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Jim - there are probably more arguments about the colours of dinosaurs than German tanks!!

Great stuff Peter, and a nice piece to get some AB practice in on. I haven't used one since they tried to train us at college. Our tutor was a woman called Joan Smith who sometimes did work for the film industry - she doctored the photograph in The Shining that puts Jack Nicholson into a picture taken in the hotel in the 1930s.

Funny to think that the way we think about the appearance of T-Rex has changed so much recently. Can't get over the fact that they were feathered, though it's nice to think that their ancestors are flitting around the garden today.

I have really enjoyed reading through this blog. Terrific stuff Peter. It seems you are not the first to suggest using German dinos

Just need a few German crosses and you can call it done:smiling5::cool:
