Mad as a box of frogs but i love it ! I had the airfix beach buggy as a kid and loved it , might have to get another now !the purple paint job is lovely , reminds me of the old Ford Purple Velvet metallic you used to see on escort mk1 1300E s!

Somebody has suggested that I do a six-wheeler (four wheels at the front) for Lady Penelope and Parker. Perhaps I just might build one, one day.

Chris, I have only built two ships (and one Pibber boat) since my HMS Prince of Wales (R09) of November 2019. The ships were the Heller Jeanne D'Arc and the Airfix HMS Ark Royal.

I'll show my age too as I can recall those times. For those interested the actual colour used was Alcad 2 Candy Violet Enamel (ALC-712).
