Mmm - I see Airfix get the gull-wing right, and the shape of the spinner and prop look OK too - unlike the Revell Vb I got for this group build. I'll think about you when I'm busy carving and sanding, Alan!

It's a shame that Airfix keep re-boxing their old kits, but you're making good progress on this one Alan :smiling3:

I love this kit, that scheme looks nice when completed. Check out that date, 1974. Awesome year that.

But make it easy to find a kit for the classic kit GB later in the year. LOL

I'm sure you will knock it into shape Alan.

Update View attachment 97472

underside done and the few recessed panel lines pin washed and the undercarriage painted View attachment 97473

camo painted on upper surface and I mxed a bit of rust with some gun metal to see if it would give a better look to the exhausts , in this scale I think it's worked but I don't know about a larger scaleimage.jpg

Just noticed I forgot the yellow stripe on the wings View attachment 97479

there are no decals for this so its a paint job and due to it being curved you can't mask up so its free hand I'm afraidimage.jpg

Decals are on and just needs weathering View attachment 97560

the antenna wire is a strand out of some cable I took out of an old computer , it's thinner than cotton and fits the scale better:smiling3:image.jpg

Cheers John I'm glad you like it , it's a good kit although old and goes together well , I would imagine this would have been one of airfix best when it came out in 1974
