Here she is. A month late but still at least i finished her. Made a few mistakes along the way but all in all i'm happy with it. Tried a load of new techniques so have got to be happy with that. Good cheap kit to get your teeth into. The seat is an obvious weak point and so are the undercarriage legs. But other then that it's a lovely build

Here's the pics. Over to you guys. Hope you enjoy :smiling3:

Cheers Andrew. She's a nice size. About the same as my Fw190's and fits just nicely into my display cabinet.

Well that turned out very nice Al. Great job on that rather different camouflage. Also the first time I have seen a German fighter with a black bottom. :rolling: as in undersides.... lol

Hi Alan
Great looking 109 nightfighter. The mottling and wing camouflage is spot on. I’ve read through the build log too and can see you’ve overcome a few setbacks (to me the journey is always as important as the end result). I think you may have your wing and fuselage crosses mixed up The fuselage ones should be on the wings and vice versa.

Quality build :thumb2:

Nope they are correct(ish). I just painted them wrong as i added the white cross to the wrong black cross. Still happy with it though lol :smiling3:

I think the wing crosses should just be the thin variety outlined (no black infill).
So long as your happy that’s all that matters. :thumb2: :tongue-out:
