Filling is all done the messy bit is all that sanding.

Thanks for that. I could understand that a ship which in reality had planks would look fine with wooden planks but I was a bit puzzled with using planking for something like this. I can appreciate the sanding will be very dusty

And after a day of sanding and more sanding with a little bit more sanding and some filling and then more sanding here's the result and then on to the next stage which will be the second layer of planking that holds the portholes.

On to the next stage witch is adding the second layer of strips that have the portholes and completes the hull before painting I have only shown the first two pieces as the rest is much the same

Time to update I have finished off the second layer of planking and all the portholes have been fitted and the black and paint have been applied.

Big update I have finished the hull off and added all the etched doors the boat deck has been planked with other parts and I have added the etched A and B Deck etched sides

Started on the funnels as per instruction manual I have done no's 3 and 4 and also the before during and the completed funnels.
