Thanks for that. I could understand that a ship which in reality had planks would look fine with wooden planks but I was a bit puzzled with using planking for something like this. I can appreciate the sanding will be very dusty :rolling:

On to the next stage witch is adding the second layer of strips that have the portholes and completes the hull before painting I have only shown the first two pieces as the rest is much the same20191114_145404.jpg
