This is my eighth Manx (I wish I afford a real one!). Having seen the results of Hydro-Dip painting and researched and found the method on YouTube, I've tried it with this build. I've also used all of the covers/hoods and tops for this build that are supplied in the kit. I've also built the card diorama supplied in the kit.

I've also raised the body on the chassis.

Cheers Polux. The paint method is also known as Swirl painting, there are plenty of pieces on YouTube using both spray or liquid drip with either acrylic or enamel paints, using models and most everything else you can think of, that need a new paint finish.
Here's the paint effect on the body after assembly...

nice work with the dip.....must try that myself

This takes me back. 1970's West coast vibe. Another wonderful build. I can see why you like this model so much

Thanks Paul & Steve. This is why modelling still gives me a buzz even at 70, after building for the last 60+ years!!
