HI AGAIN Peter I don't know if you know this but I see you are usein F/O but a tip for them to show better to help you on them is on the ends that are seen if you just touch the F/O ends on something hot like a soldering iron they will look like a lens an show more light hope this helps you

Moving on to the next part in have all wiring and lighting in the main body section and the first d7 is finished and sprayed black to stop light leakage.
And I have started on the next one also sprayed black.20190523_174427.jpg20190523_181926.jpg20190524_121219.jpg20190524_121236.jpg20190524_121246.jpg

Peter.
I love the use of lights, it certainly takes the model to another level of interest.

Damn, that is a shame Peter but, sometimes leaving a project can be for the better. Hopefully, you will find the bits and be able to restart this project.

I do have a brand new untouched kit and I will be starting a fresh thread for it.

Nice one Pete, maybe you could do a knocked out D7 to go with the other one...who knows.

I am going to be starting a new build so first up is NCC 1701 USS enterprise and I will be following the plans to the letter and I have drilled out the holes needed on the saucer and main hill and given a wash as the paint was rubbing off on the last build.20200306_141337.jpg20200306_141411.jpg20200306_141432.jpg

Next major hurdle over and done with and that's all the soldering done on the circuit boards and after a quick test I can confirm that it does work.20200306_163100.jpg

I seem to be on a mission sorting out some of my unfinished builds I have had a go at restarting this one and here's how ncc-1701 looks at the moment. IMG_20220516_200614.jpg

More progress made.
Some paint on and a test of the lighting circuit.
Still not happy with the finish as it's a rather crude kit that's going to need quite a bit of work to get a decent finish.
Because with paint on it shows where work is needed and it's everywhere. IMG_20220517_103059.jpgIMG_20220517_103054.jpg
