Hi Peter
That's up there with my favourites. Not sure if it's the character in the face or the stunning choice of colours but certainly

John, Neil and Jim - Thanks for your kind words. I'm tempted by other samurai in the range, but will have to save some pennies first.

Hi Peter,
And another masterpiece comes together, the colours compliment the face and bring it alive.
Mike.

Morning Peter

Well done, and I think it has already been said, superb work on the fan, with the free hand flowers.

I am sure you will be feeling more confident for your next project, just need to choose one that is well sculpted.

Another recycle?

its not the best of days for light so far, and not that good with the forecast either.

Arctic blasts next week!

Hopefully you will have another project in mind

Enjoy the preparation and paint

Regards

Mike - Many thanks for your kind words.

Steve - It's a relief to actually finish something, and I'm quite pleased with the result. Next, a 1/5 kamikaze bust - new thread imminent. A dark, rainy day ahead, with very poor light. I have got daylight bulbs, but I find it hard to work under artificial light; too many reflections and sharp shadows.
