Evening John,
Your figure working is getting better with each build, they look to be coming along very nicely. Are you planning on doing any highlights on the uniform or maybe dry brushing?
I know you been playing with oils lately....they are good for dry brushing and have loads of fiddle time before drying.

Nice, nice, nice!!!

I too always have trouble sticking metal foil to plastic - it never seems to stick first time.

Thanks Si , when I did the first coat it was very thin, using a mix of Russian Uniform green and some brown I had what I thought was some nice contrasting shades , a bit like a wash. After putting more layers on the difference has be obliterated. So will do some more. Might try some dry brushing and see how that works. I can however seen a load of bits on one of the two standing on the car, thought they had been removed ! .

Hi Peter thank you , glad to see I am not alone then with the foil .

If you ever find out a clever way of sticking foil to plastic let me know because it drives me to despair. I have tried everything. Large pieces of foil are an absolute nightmare.

Great update on the figures. Really coming on well

Steve, thanks you. as to the foil its more akin to wrestling with a b****y otopuss. Mind you I can see the funny side after, but at the time it was annoying to say the least. :smiling::smiling:

Then taking some kitchen foil I cut a thin strap for the map case. Great fun trying to ca it to the case, after several attempts of gluing to my finger I managed to glue it to the tweezer
! Eventually I was successful but glad that was done.

Hey Dude 2,

I think we have all had that pleasure at one time or another with CA!!! I do say your final result looks great. Figs are also looking good and you seem to have a fine handle on them with the colors. Top work there Buddy!!! PM later...….

Your best yet, John :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:
Wow that's kind Neil, but looking at the 2nd photo and the 3rd taken from the other side his arm looks weird. Think your way of cutting then wiring may have worked better. Still there is some progress in the paint work .

Dude 1 thank you. My finger seems to be easier to glue than anything else :smiling2::smiling2::hungry:.

Morning John,
Good to see the figures with paint on. And that whitewash looks the business, number nine mop and bucket in use there....
Cheers, Mike.

Cheers Mike, glad you've remembered the correct No.:tongue-out3:

Steve your asking some one who doesn't know what day it is half the time let alone what hour.:smiling4::smiling2::smiling2::upside::upside:
Right on with the job in hand.
Today I've added some thin coats and detail to the faces.
Kept leaving it and going back to give my eye a rest and let the paint dry .
Now don't know if thats correct, but if I kept painting the colours mergred.

The Officer .IMG_20190530_162848888.jpg
