so here is the start of my Balrog from the lord of the rings. just got to do all the detailing an weathering.

Green Balrog? Always thought of it as made of fire, ash and smoke... hmm hard to represent in plastic and paint so under those circumstances your version works fine :D

You could say this is the eco-friendly version with it being green :smiling3: :smiling3:

I think it works well in green to be honest, when i did my white metal jobbie i painted it grey with orange, red and yellow highlights, where the grey showed through i used bi-carb to simulate the ash and cinders on the skin.

Nice work. Is that Citadel Liquid Green Stuff that you're using as filler?

I Known....Green.....Have no idea why i chose green just one of those spur of the moment things

The green putty that i am using is the same as the GW but i get mine from my local model shop in bigger roles so is so much cheaper then theirs
