It's the height of the Battle of Britain, a German Me109 has crash landed in Kent and after taking away half an old tin shed, and wrapped up in wire, has ended up in the mud,
The pilot has survived and is heading for freedom - But is also stuck in the mud!

An excellent Airfix 1/72 109 'Starter kit', brush painted with Vallejo Model Air acrylics. The diorama is made up of bits and pieces. For some reason the wire looks thicker than it actually is...Not to worry, eh?

Thanks again Dave..... ;)

Hi Ron
Once again you have done a superb job. Simply stunning. The last photo is very illuminating - shows scale.
Stay safe.

Thanks for your positive comments boys... :thumb2:

For personal reasons, this small diorama simply knocks everything I've ever done before into a cocked hat!

Thanks again.

Ron,
That is a stunning scene and as Peter has said you can smell the mud and the air. Personal reasons or not that is one of your best.

Until I got to the last photo, I was under the impression that this little dio was much larger than it actually is. Top work 570, up to your usual standards and an interesting story to go with it!
Cheers, Rick H.

Cracking diorama Ron, looks as if the pilot had a rather uncomfortable landing!
