Hi Bob

Meant to ask, what CA are you using? Normal DIY/craft stuff or specialist model stuff? I'm using some extra thin stuff by VMS someone recommended that works well.

Hey Bob, cyanoacrylate sets in the absence of air and the presence of moisture, so I’ve found holding the part in place and “huffing” on it speeds up setting.

I'm not using one myself but I've got a bulk pack for DIY purposes that comes with an accelerator but in a large felt tip form, rather than the usual spray can, so you just wipe the piece to be glued over it rather than spray half a can over the model. It's so economical that although I'm on my second pack of DIY CA I'm still using the pen from the first set.

Evening

Had fun fitting the engine deck frame which is in the Legend kit, no instructions and not easy to work out how its fitted!

Had my normal problems getting the CA to work/stick. Looks a bit wonky but hoping that as many of these were made & fitted in the field i can blame the crew ;)

Next up is the PE side skirts and that should ruin the week lol
