Question please.....
On the Me109 desert version, was the mottle applied to the aircraft before or after the various Balkenkreuz, swastikas etc?

I've had no joy on Google Images.

Definitive answers please, ta.

Just looking at 'The fighting Me 109' book Ron, and some of the photo would suggest the mottling first then the markings matey.

Thanks for helping out with my question, John. As you're the only one to respond thus far, I'll do as you suggest and add the mottle first......

But be aware, if you have given me duff information, I will come and find you and insert a can of Boddies into you... - empty, of course!

Best wishes,

As I haven't touched this model since I started the thread in September 2017, I thought it a good idea to finally complete the build!

So as it's still heaving down with rain, I've brushed on the mottling.

All a bit stark looking, but it should tone down.

Cheers.

Hi Ron
After nearly 2 years on the shelf it deserves to be finished. Looking good.
