Im nearly finished with the project i started a while before my op. Apologies for the lack of progress photos!

This is my first attempt at using PE parts and although i hate working with superglue and looking at the carpet, the parts have added an extra dimension to the build and are valuable practice for my 2 big winter projects.

I used alclad polished aluminium for the exhausts and applied heat with tamiya clear colours. The end part of the can is a PE part 'heated' with tamiya clear orange.

Beneath the seat ive added a carbon panel and an ECU stolen from the parts bin..i love how this has turned out!

Now becoming my standard MO, ive wired the handlebars.

The clutch is a mish mash of parts including bits of a PE clutch that i snipped here and there and modified.

The single most challenging part of this build has yet again been self-destructing decals..theyve really let me down. So many of them feel to pieces or have torn its beggared belief. The entire side panels have had to be painted as the large decals just tore (even when using microscale decal film)..i'll post pics of these when theyre finished.

I finished the paint over Klear with pearl laquer to add a bit of bling and to try and even out the horrible decals.

hope you enjoy the pics!View attachment 50350View attachment 50351View attachment 50352View attachment 50353View attachment 50354View attachment 50355View attachment 50356View attachment 50357
