The slat armour must have taken a lot of patience, cracking work Mike.

Stillp,
Graeme,
Scottie
John Race,
Many thanks for your comments,
Graeme, the problem I had with the armour was in fact the lack of information in the instructions with regard to the placement of the rear brackets which I have just about sorted. But the assemby of the slat is fairly straight forward. Mind you turning out a Leopard 2A4M with slat gave me some experience.
John, sad to say I ignored the solder, I wanted to try and do this with c/a, but it was built the same way and on a very thick floor tile, and the c/a was applied with a number 10 scalpel blade, so instead of touching and leaving a blob I am able to slide the edge of the blade across or through the joint which is cleaner.
Mike.

Update.
Following on from the first bit of slat to go on, the four parts are all on with just the finishing details to add. Still more brass to add with the centre section, the wire reel and brackets, tow cables drone drone, One day I may even reach the turret...
So the work so far...
Thanks for looking and commenting.
Mike.
