Hi all I'm amazed it only took an hour to complete both sides using patricks tape method.
They have had a coat of flat black and once its dry I'll give them a cot of steel before I start weathering them
The camouflage is now finished and the ancillaries fixed in place and painted

Hi all finally got the tracks on and side skirts added.
I have got the first coat of gloss varnish down. I'll leave it overnight before I apply the decals

Glad my track method helped you out Col! The camo is looking very good, nice dots!

I would say those tow cables look a wee bit too shiny for my taste. And by late '44 if the crew hatches weren't painted in Dunkelgelb at the factory, most crews covered up the Elfenbein colour with Dunkelgelb.

Cheers for the info on the hatch colour Patrick.
The tow cables will get toned down with oils and pastels at a later stage

Hi all last night applied the decals and two coats of klear and I've done a pin wash using oils on all the vertical surfaces.

This is the Saumur Tiger

And this is a Maybach engine

When the hatch is open, only the carburettors are visible really.

Hi guys I think I'll call this finished. I have gave it an oil wash and then dirtied it up with some artist pastels I won't add any more dirt until I decide on a diorama setting for it.
BTW could someone tell me were to post the finished thread
