Nice idea Richard, but as you guessed, they would be hiding in the mud. And the tree, well it's more of a bush now Lesson learnt, I'll use copper next time.hiding track attachments is to position the link behind mud guards.
I like them quite a bit. I've built a few old aircraft kits and always liked them.Love the original Matchbox kit
No worry, usual fee applies.thanks for naming it after me!!
Me too. I think it was a combination of colourful boxes and that funny clear panel on some of the boxes.Wow this takes me back Colin.I loved Matchbox as a youngster
Thanks John. A lot of the weathering tips I watched on youtube were for 1:35 scale, so I couldn't fully make them work in 1:76. There's only one solution to this problem, I'm going to need a bigger tank.when I first saw the photos It looked like 1/35
Oh don't we know it !Very nice result Colin.
Great composition, but be very careful, dios. can be addictive.
Thanks Andrew, and yes, it was him I mainly watched, he does the funny voice effects, but a very talented 'weatherer' - I made a word up.Martin Kovac aka Knight Shift
I do like him - it's his self deprecating sense of humour I like and the admission that he doesn't know it all and is still learning! Thanks everyone for having a look and the positive comments. I might have overdone the weathering, but then again, that's what I used to do when I started out in aircraft production. Although, I might blame a bit of it's appearance on macro photography.
