Nice and modern looking helicopter there Colin. If you need any photographs of a rescue/medivac BK117 for winches, details etc I have a set I took at work a few years ago for another model builder. Feel free to message me if you want copies.

Joe you're a star ... i want to do it with doors open so you can see the inner equipment etc. ... any images would be a great help.

Consider yourself PM'd :smiling3: :smiling3:

Looks good. Lots of glazing, so plenty to see inside.

Exactly Colin, with all the glass and the chance of cutting the doors open it's a perfect oportunity to have some scratch built inner details on show.

Glad they will be of use, look forward to seeing how you create some of those goodies :smiling3: BTW that machine has since been fitted with a nose mounted FLIR kit and the cockpit was painted black around the time I took those photos for the purposes of Night Vision equipment, namely NVG.

right then .... made a start...

Got the components added to the main floor, the instrument panel is very well detailed ... the decals are nicely detailed but i may use a combination of paint and decal.

The seats come with moulded belts, am going to paint them first to see what they look like, if they don't appeal i'll do my foil leather simulation and add some masking tape belts

and of course what kit would be complete without some flash and bobbly bits :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3:

Ok then, this is where i am .....

Got the interior built, i had a shifty on t'intergoogle and apparently the seats in this version are the hard plastic covered foam variety so doing the wrinkled leather look wouldn't be right, they're just a dull black smooth type.

I've added some sheets and some bandage rolls here and there in an attempt to have it looking like it's half way through being tidied up after a rescue/mission.

The panel is a mixture of paint and decal detailing.

Two unobscured shots of the panel
