I've built one of these - although mine is languishing in a drawer somewhere until I decide what to do with it!

Watch for the rear hatch fixings, mine was a proper PITA!

I've never built a revell kit before, they seem quite nice. Are the top hatches aftermarket?

some revell kits are very very nice

no, they were on the same sprue as the tracks and that got a coat of primer as im going to paint them on the sprue, thats why they are white

Always loved the Panthers - never built a 1/72 scale model in my life.- think 1/35 is too small! - amazing how well you guys pull it off ! ;)

thanks to work commitments ive not done much the last few days but ive made a lot of progress today

its had a dark wash and a couple of coats of matt varnish to tone it all own

tracks are on.....not impressed to be honest, pain in the posterior to fit......my plan wasnt to weather this much but to hide the dodgy tracks im going splogde some mud around....which is the next step

and finished! thoroughly enjoyed doing this, always like braille scale armour

gave it a MiG mud slurry wash, brushed off to get a dusty look down the sides, then used some citedel made textured stuff called 'stirling mud' which gives a wet mud look, helped hide the dodgy tacks.
