You're in the same museum as Ron ain't you Tony! When will you two behave and stop trying to fool us with these pictures of the real thing? Get Ron to drop you off on his way home so you can get pictures of your model!

Great result Tony, that's a very nicely finished Hind. Top shelf work.

Thanks guys , after the trauma of the broken canopy Im just glad I managed to get it finished . Ive got another in the stash but its going to be finished as a D model in czech camo and in flight , and this time ive got a resin cockpit and the canopy is in one piece!

Lovely work. Out of curiosity how did you do your masking for the camoflage?
It was a case of doing it in reverse carl . I sprayed the green first then cut out masks from wide tape stuck onto sticky label backing paper to the squiggly shapes and then sprayed the sand yellow . If you click the link to the build thread on the first post its in there . Hope this helps , cheers tony

Afternoon Tony,

I do have to say that you have built and finished one truly fine example of a Soviet Mi-24 "Hind"!!! I must tip my hat to you Sir!!! If there was a little nit pick, it would have to be that you forgot the safety retaining pin in the 3rd rotor blade hinge....Other than that, excellence all the way.

Prost
Allen
