Looks very nice, but why oh why Tamiya put metal road wheels in, when a one piece metal barrel would have been so much better (?)
Hi Steve,
I think it would have been nice to have the barrel included & maybe the PE that is needed to complete. But I suppose that would effect the profit margins.
The metal wheels are a nice touch though.

Hi All,
Here are a few quick shots of my progress up to now.
The PE is moving on slowly & the Cyano Gel is excellent!
I have been studying my reference book & it turns out the fuel tanks on the rear of the tank impede the turret turning in action & is dumped before combat.
I am going to try to model it without these which will involve knocking up some rubber mounts. Again which will be new for me.
My paint has arrived too so I shall hopefully start to paint in the near future.
Thanks for looking.

Hi All,
Update: Beginning to lay some paint down.
I need a rest from the PE.
Painting wheels & running gear Vallejo 71.251 NATO black & a semi gloss for the tyres.
The tracks are quite labour intensive primed then detailing the rubber pads, steel & brass etc.
Thanks for looking.

You're doing a grand job on this one David. I admire your attention to detail on the tracks.
