I'm up to painting the body on my Tamiya lotus 49 1/12 build. Painting the body ts-43 Racing green. I plan on clear coating it with Tamiya TS-13. Question is: After I paint the body, is it best to spray clear around 5-10 minutes after, then wait for clear to dry and apply decals, then clear coat again?
Or can I paint, apply decals then wait a week or so and then finish with a clear coat? (Been reading that people say with the TS-13 you need to apply immediately or wait a week or two for the solvent in the paint to evaporate??) I normally just apply decals with warm water and a cotton bud. If I use clear would I have to use decal adhesive or something, or is the warm water fine?
