Now since I have the fever of building these old AC Macks I thought it would be fun to build one on pneumatic tires and make it a heavy duty dump truck the tires are from an old matchbox truck and the wheels are our Alloy Forms as well as the dump bed hope you come along for the ride

Rick. Don’t know about the dual stack but they did re-power these beast with diesels so I might put a air cleaner on it don’t know yet thanks for stopping by and the complement stay tuned

Tyres look a little close to the front fenders but otherwise very neat conversion Lee

Lee, that looks really nice. I'm pretty sure that orange was a standard color on Mac dumps and Mine haulers, just as the garish yellow that was used by Euclid on their equipment of the same purpose. If you have ever seen an Iron Ore mine, it becomes evident they needed high visibility paint in order to see exactly where these vehicles were operating. Cheers, Rick H.

Rick. Thanks that’s why I painted it Hauling out of lead mines around here they always paint large equipment high visible colors for years plus Mack always painted there quarry trucks bright orange
