The reason why I have grouped these two names together is because they both fulfilled the very same job at APS producing detailed scale drawings for the Aeromodeller magazine,G.A.Cull did a splendid monthly series outlining in particular the many interesting civil aircraft both vintage and contemporary of the day.

George Cox is best remembered for his 1=48 th scale series of biplanes including Curtiss Hawk,Rapide,Tiger Moth,Avro 504 etc the plans also had sketches and written note on how to build up the respective model, these plans were to set a standard and included personally researched material obtained first hand when George would be seen crawling all over his subject in the quest for accuracy and that essential detail.

These pre-computer days entailed real draughtsmen from all walks of industry, many had been given the chance to produce these drawings which were indeed labours of love from their involvement with model building.
