I'm going to smash, trash, bash, blow up and set fire to this tank. Possibly even drown the b****y thing!

Rather like this Abrams, but perhaps not so urban - Who knows? I don't, that's for sure!... :upside:
But one thing I do know is I'm going to have me a heap of fun having a go at it.... :thumb2:

Ah, T62 - I gather you gave up on the T54 then Ron

Not the most accurate kit but if it is getting blown up that probably doesn’t matter

Simon - Not so much gave up, but the price was most appealing!

To be honest, accuracy is usually way down on my list of priorities. I just build O.O.B. and am happy having fun and trying to do the best I can out of the contents.

Having written the above, I do admire folks with more dedication than me when it comes to accuracy. - It's just not my bag.

Cheers.

There is that - these T62’s are cheap as chips if not cheaper :thumb2:

I look forward to seeing you work your magic on it

Thanks everyone.
Rick - No fire, just the aftermath of a good internal conflagration.

A bit of an update.
I've been spray painting!..... :surprised:
The plastic was initially a dark green and I want a sandy colour to the model. So I rooted in the shed and found an old spray can of white radiator paint that just about worked! On to the plastic it went.

I then returned to sanity and brushed on some Vallejo 'Desert Sand'

Good Lawdy Ron!!!

Did you say spray in the same sentence as paint. Are you going over to the other side???? Need more meds????? Or was this just an accidental, one time thing???????

My fellow Padawan learners, be calm you must. To turn Ron to the darkside, more than a single spray can needed will be! He is strong with the force and much more temptation needed will be before he falls.

Hang on a mo'!
I just used a quick squirt of white radiator paint as I didn't want to waste my good BRUSH PAINTING STUFF as a bit of poxy undercoat to try and tone down the colour a bit.

Please forgive what was a momentary lapse into the crazy, masking tape by the mile, 90% goes into the atmosphere, unpredictable, mottled/dimpled finish, lung fume filling, splattering and forever cleaning nozzle world of A.B.'s.... :upside:

I promise never again to wander over to the dark side of life.

Lots of love.
