This Spitfire crashed on the beach at Dunkirk in 1940. The pilot was Peter Cazenove. The picture shows German soldiers posing on the wreck. It was found in 1980 and restored in 2007 and flew in 2011. In 2015 it was auctioned by Christies with proceeds going to the RAF Benevolent Fund. Further info *HERE*
One day I may get round to it 'cause as I say it is not difficult.

I’ve been wanting to build this as a diorama ever since seeing the photo in Vietnam Tracks 25+ years ago:

It would be sort of doable in 1/72, but imagining it with a 1/35 scale Trumpeter CH-47 is even better :smiling3:
