brought this chap with my on holiday, staying in a gorgeous cottage on Carbis Bay, so in the evenings can do some painting. got some paint on his face, tricky blending as left my filbert brush behind at home !!. needs a few more highlights adding and pupils, must be okay as my wife instantly recognised him. lol

Got some AK Ultra Flat varnish on his face, looks a lot better now, not so glossy !

Have started on his 'brown' leather jacket, just a trial on his arm first to check out the process;

Steve,

Great work on Tin Tin, he looks almost life-like, which in my book is very good fit a comic character.

Very well done indeed.

started detail painting of the bike. have a few cast metal leads to attach, the fun bit is going to be attaching the rear supports to the bike and at the same time fixing the rear hub in place. same with the front forks, which as well as attaching the wheel to the mudguard, will then have to attach that sub assembly to the bike and line up TinTin's Hands

Good luck with the next bit Steve.... That sounds like you'll need three pairs of hands! It is coming on nicely!

Hi Steve
Face looks very nice. You've got the leather look on the jacket. Bike is coming on a treat. All definitely heading in the right direction.

Got more parts of the bike glued together, bit tricky with so many touch points but all done. Also got the 'young mans' boots painted;

Also discovered what some of metal bits are for - brakes and leads, I seem to have two left handed seat supports , so will have to fix one to be right handed.

so tried a dry run with the 3 bits tonight and blown away at the design of the kit as they all join up nicely. only slight issue is I had two 'left' seat supports, so had to make one into a right side support but with the figure seated you will never know.
