That is superb Pete. The scribing on the blue foam is fantastic, so even it looks machined....

Morn Pete,

Late in as usual and can hardly believe my eyes! Top scratchery and finery all around Buddy, but what's most fascinating is that you are probably the first person in the world to beat blue foam into submission to get an imprint like that!!!! Too cool...…………….

Hi I've have finished the build stage now just added some bulkhead trim and added two pedals. All the foam was painted with a watered-down PVA glue and all the metal parts primed with Mr metal primer just got to let it dry now.

The Sun gauges bring back memories. The blue foam diamond tuck was a master stroke. Great upgrades. Back in the day the Fink only wished he had hooks that sophisticated. Drum brake fade from high speed was only conquered by "lock'in'em'up", aka "slide for life", although street racers & police were usually the only ones to experience it. They also were the ones to experience "brake fluid boiling" on the early disk systems. You guys were way ahead of us on turning & stopping. PaulE

Pete, I love the way how you add your own details to these models, the 'interior trim' looks fantastic, very creative with the mesh and blue foam :thumb2:

Hi got my best witches broom out and roughed out and I mean roughed out the main colours.
I'll change my mind on the car colour it's going for gloss black and purple interior.
