Looks OK for a dust effect to really work it needs to be almost the last thing you do and needs to be 200% matt.


But it looks like you are going about it well.

Looking good Alan...I'm sure you know already, dust means bright metal on the tracks. Try an HB or softer pencil on the bits of track in contact with the road. Get 'em nice and shiny( even more than you have now) with a good rubbing!


Perhaps a darker colour between these to add a bit of shade difference?
