I'm glad you approve of my attempt to paint farmer Brown too.


I've just finished Kolinski and the French broad. I need to do something with her hair me thinks!




They are widening their search for the 'missing' necklace.

"Aw, sir, I'm only trying to cement International Relations." Came a gasping voice from the rubble.


That concludes all the human figures I will be using.
Next up I'll paint the two horses. I've found a gorgeous picture of one which I'm going to have a crack at painting. The remaining one will probably have to stay a straight forward brown. - Bless!

Nice one Rick, I hope so too!....

I've made a start on the horses. I've kept the plastic mane and tail. Reasoning any additional hair would make them both too bulky and I didn't want to risk any damage grinding the plastic off.



This first horse is a breed I spotted called Appaloosa. Brush painted in Vallejo Air acrylics, it was a pig to do!
The final one will be a straight forward brown....





This is a truer colour of how the horse turned out.


Still a little bit of work to do. Mainly applying a second coat to tidy up the harness.

I hope you approve of my 'Neddy'

Hi Ron
Horsey looks good. Leaving the mane and tail as is was the best call. Poor, plain brown horsey 2 is gonna feel quite inferior next to this colourful equine.

Rick, before hostilities began in France, Prof. Smarta**e taxi driver had shipped over a pair of Appaloosas from the States and had started a breeding program on his farm just outside Foucarville, which proved to be very successful...... so there.
