Next up… Some more Wurger action. The top IP is a bit of a ‘stick and hope’ as you sandwich the fuselage halves together. Think i got it right after a couple of attempts. Not great for Eduard but the rest was spot on in the office. All PE went well. 8A0506BD-DA15-4E02-ACD7-00A2314CD275.jpeg9D2690CC-6B56-4AA8-91D3-50A23FEECB8D.jpeg4C4E3C76-C6FB-41DD-BC35-301A5626A6DA.jpeg01A603D9-198C-4F2E-B7EA-F0FED52F7C79.jpegF9117363-72F2-410B-92E0-BE3E89A846F7.jpeg

This kit is stunning in its accuracy of fit, an absolute joy! All together now, just waiting to fit the nose cowel and a final section of the cockpit plus the front part of the canopy and then on with some external priming. Wheel bays done and undercarriage painted. 9CC60BD9-B6A5-4F1D-BFFE-4DA8F8B17AC6.jpeg2916C201-65DA-418D-B79D-BBA5634F144F.jpegC400F8E6-3A5D-40BC-AAED-A97010537CAA.jpeg4CE1D777-8B21-4B3E-A415-F802A486242E.jpeg40C41515-1A73-4C4E-B22B-F783C6F1E587.jpeg

Looking very nice. Can you do a canopy open version with this kit ? It would be a shame to cover the 'pit up.

I have resurrected this from the shelf! Decided to crack on. Pleased I did, had one of those days when the AB was behaving; managed to get the Yellow sections done, the RLM underneath and the winter mottling on top. This scheme has a section or two of standard camo on the wings and fuselage so will be doing that next.E31EB2B3-B1E7-4F23-977D-F7D9EA5D0B27.jpeg843CA44F-D84F-434A-B74C-02D62D226C40.jpeg54CF4C43-FC09-4599-8E9F-DB5292AB6C16.jpegB10565AC-C422-444B-9D38-6D709B99B931.jpeg08EE0B45-597D-47A7-943A-7AC06184D72D.jpeg

Looking very good! I have a couple of 1/72 profipack kits in the stash. Not plucked up the courage to have a go..... Don't want to ruin it. Need a bit more practice on cheaper wingy things first....

Keep up the good work.

Hi Russell
I missed this before. I have built an Eduard Spitfire and that was a nice kit.
Great looking cockpit. Nice paint job. Yellow is not an easy colour to spray.

Cheers Jim. It’s taken me a while to hone the yellow process. I now do it all first over a white base and then mask it off for the other colours, seems to be the right way. For me at least.
