In RIAF colours.

I'm really beginning to enjoy Eduard models, and the choice in decals is very good.

Brilliant. I have three of their 1/72 Bf110s in the stash I need to attack at some point!

Again, very well done.

I have to agree about Eduard. Which makes me wonder why I don't build more !
But anyway, that's a splendid build you have there.

Very nice model, Del and a uncommon choice regarding the RIAF.
I like the natural metal finish. What paints did you use?
I have a 1/72 Eduard Spitfire Mk IX in the stash and I want (sooner or later) to build a Spit who fought over Italy sporting the natural metal scheme but for the engine cowl.

Thanks all!

Andrea,

I used Vallejo Air.

Nato black (71.251) undercoat
Metallic silver (71.063) top coat

Gives it a lovely finish.

Beautiful job del , I love the tempest II ever since i made the old matchbox kit as a kid. That one had the cartwheel style of Indian roundel as the decal option . This is superbly built and skilfully photographed , going to start me off looking for another matchbox kit now ! Cheers tony
