The body from this kit. The rest was used to complete a MK1 Escort resin bodied Rally Car.

Well that certainly is a boy racer car. Would we have ever seen you in one Pat?:smiling3:

Thanks Steve. Well yes I thought about building a MK1 or 2 as a road rally car, wide arches, big rims in tarmac spec. But I built a MK1 based kit car instead about 30 years ago....

A kit made by Tim Dutton-Woolley down in Brighton, we (myself and friends) built 5 over a period of 3 years all for family members. Red/Brown/White and Dark Green. The guy who bought this off me 4 years after still has it. He's a stunt glider competitor across Europe! My palls still see him at the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show annually!

A MkII Escort. Well that will get all us past owners lamenting the days of fast Escorts and cheap petrol. Nice build Patrick

Dang!!!...I wished I hadn't sold mine but parts would have been hard to come by here.

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks guys. Yes Richard it was difficult to find this here, (in the UK) but I think they've done a re-run, and you have to watch out as there is a big variance with prices!

Brilliant job patrick ,just like the real thing .looking forward to the resin rally car now. Ive spent many an hour marvelling at Ken Blocks videos , hes a superbly skilled driver and some of his machines are mental! One of my faves has to be the Hoonicorn four wheel drive Mustang going up the Pikes Peak hillclimb , he nearly has it over the edge a few times ,scary stuff but gets the adrenaline pumping!! Any petrol heads out there will know what i mean ,if not search ken block on you tube and get ready to be amazed, cheers tony
