Whilst I had my paints mixed for my recent 1/72 VIIC/41 U. Boat build, I decided to do a tandem build of the same type of boat, but different camouflage, in 1/350 scale.
I didn't realise Revell did this type of boat, so I was chuffed to be able to build one alongside the bigger version.

Photos of them both together at the end of this quick, just for fun thread.

I've listed it under 'Completed' 'cos I took just one picture of the actual build but I must show you the following first........

The excellent box art depicts an actual action after the German U. Boats received orders to surrender at the end of WW2.

The sprues. Loads of detail crammed onto such small pieces of plastic.

The instructions are far and away the best I've seen. For a model so small, Revell have done a superb job.
Glossy paper and crystal clear, coloured diagrams.

....and the one and only shot of the actual build. I got carried away and simply forgot.......:upside::thumb2:

Next up the finished diddy U.Boat.....

Thanks for looking.

Nice one mate, good to read that some effort went into the kit.

Rick H & 453.
Thank you both for your comments.
An excellent kit, but extreme care is needed removing parts from the sprues - Especially the tiny hand rails. I won't mention the cleaning up! Of which there was very little, but very nerve racking.....
Brush painted with Vallejo Model Air. E.Zee line rigging.

Here is the finished boat.

Hi Ron
That is an exceptionally nice baby. Detail and finish is excellent, especially given the scale.

Thanks all. Great posts.
I thought the rigging on his dad was a toughie. This, although small by comparison, this 7 1/2" runt's wires drove me insanitary!........:flushed:

Great little build Ron. Would be dead easy to fit this into a water diorama depicting that box cover fight.

....
453 - I've already sent you a cheque for your last bit of creeping! It must have gone astray. Can you confirm your cell number please?

AlanG - Dead easy?!.....:worried:

As promised earlier, here is the child with his papa.
