Thanks for the kind words lads. Tony the base was simple View attachment 39530 just some chipboard surrounded by View attachment 39531 laminate flooring edging with plastic card on top 6 squares painted light grey then speckled with whites, greys and black then dark grass the type you use on train sets. The yellow line was painted on useing bluetac with a gap less tha 6 mil then when dry i put 6mil Tamiya tape over the top which gives it a faded at the edges look ( well i think it does )

Nice job mate. My Mrs would go Ape if i broke up the furnature for my bases, i would have to use a whole wardrobe door :laughing:

don't know how i missed this when you posted Ian.

Looks really good, a nicely detailed model on a simple (yet effective) base .....

.... and you seem to have doubts about it when you started ..... there was no need eh :smiling3: :smiling3:
