Getting rid of splatter,

Evening, spraying the Marder and out of the blue a small splat of paint, ball!!!

Was going to use very fine sanding to tone it down. Is there another way

A touch late now, but for future reference:

If you are quick and get it while the splat is still wet, a brush dampened in the appropriate thinner for your paint and dabbed carefully on the splat will wick the excess paint away. Follow with a light coat over the area and it should be all but invisible.

Now that it's dried I think sanding is your only option.

As Andy has said when airbrushing I use a finger to spread .

After airbrushing just a bit of TLC.

Depending how high it is. If high just a morton to slice closer to the paint film.

Lower. Then just a slight sandpaper with a skinny stick. Then in both cases a
wet & dry paper 1200 with loads of water & it will come down neatly.

If not perfect & you have gone to far just a little blast with the airbrush will do the trick.

Just a thought though. With Vallejo not so easy wait at least a day to cure & very gently
or it will tear. Tamiya types dry in the hour.

I have used a fibre-glass pen for this - but very gently! I don't like using these, as I get a reaction to the dust - but sometimes you have to!

Helps on the reaction side to used a bit of water. Also helps with smoothness.
