Thanks Paul & Steven, the Tamiya dark yellow seems too dark to me, so lightening it with deck tan makes it look better to me.

A bit more progress, all the wheels are painted up, the tools, spare tracks are all done & added to the hull. There are a couple of tow ropes, made using spare lengths of copper tow cable & the kit loop ends, one has been added to the clips on the track guard, will decide where the other is going later. The only decal is a balkenkreuz, as markings look a bit scarce on most stugs of this type.

I've just done the gloss varnish coat this evening after these photos were taken, so the weathering starts tomorrow.

A slight issue, three of the etch schurtzen leant on each other & stuck, cue a spot of touching up the paint!:rolling:

A start has been made on the weathering using pigments, Mig Europe dust, still a bit wet in places in the picture, more to do.

John, it is rather enjoyable, in fact so much so, I've done a bit more using mig light dust, building up the weathering in layers. Some extra bits to go on the engine deck are in the tray.
