Hello friends, I don't know if this thread is still necessary as we already have a fantastic one on the subject here on the site. I can only hope mine will turn out half as stunning as Ian's. I'll make a seascape around it.

A first tadd of paint was sprayed on, the wooden decks of the superstructure were masked before the dark bluegrey was airbrushed on.

Thanks friends, I worked on the wooden deck. Oil washes were used, here and there I've tried to create different shades.

Today the ship was glued together. A couple of washes were added but there's still a bit of work to do before it's finished.
