17 pounders were prolly too long to store in the turret. Wet storage in later marks deleted applique on the sides.

Thanks for that Paul, it makes sense and sorry for the late reply. Haven't had bench time since we rescued another 6 kittens.

The resin kit came wit applique side armour so I figure that would stay as an older mark hull being re-used. The turret won't have the applique added then.

Hi, just had a little bench time to do a bit of composition of the tank figures...

The figures are from single sprue bubble packs that Tamiya occasionally output.

Basically I may be positioning these two like these...the squatting figure will be passing a cuppa to his mate while the one in front is looking at the kids and leaning on the transmission hub.
