The other day I tried Hakata paint, but though it says “airbrush tested” on the bottle, I couldn’t quite work out if I’m supposed to thin it or not. It sprays unthinned, but needs a fair amount of pressure, leading to higher paint usage than I’d expect, but when I tried thinning it, it didn’t cover well at all. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?

They seem to vary Jakko. Some spray just fine unthinned, some need a drop or two of thinners. I find they work better with de-ionised water than with their own thinners!

I put in a bit of Halford’s blue windscreen wiper fluid, which seemed to thin them OK :smiling3:
