Nice work. It's a bit of a daft thing to say/type, but I really like the way your build mimics the real thing in the way of construction.
Thank you Colin,yes construction is fairly conventional and my models follow the same build/rigging as the real thing I loved so much working on.

Nothing like a good overnight setting of the adhesives so before breakfast it was time to fit the lower wings using simple wooden props,boxes and things to eyeball everything up,here you see the lower wings firmly in place before the interplane struts are added,but first more drying out before proceeding.

You can see the reason now for covering the lower surface of the top wing and upper surface of the lower wing before assembly,the interplane struts are inserted through the slots from top to bottom,once locked in place the rest of the wings will be covered.

The Hawker Fury has been covered with lightweight tissue water shrunk and given a first coat of thinned dope.

The large radiator and other pieces were added this evening bare wood areas were treated with sanding sealer ready for fine sanding,the silver paint is on order for eventual painting when the weather is warmer.
The Hawker Fury is flight ready.
