I am seeking WW2 figures, German and British in 1:72 scale. European theatre. Those I have found vary in quality from dreadful to barely adequate. Can one of my more experiences colleagues help by pointing me in the right direction. Would be much appreciated. John

Bit small for me John, but one of the guys will be along later no doubt and give you some pointers. Lets push this up the list.

Hi John
i would recommend Zvezda or Plastic Soldier Company 20mm for hard plastics, or AB 20mm figures from Eureka Miniatures UK if you prefer metal. I would avoid the soft plastic figures as they are hard to clean up and need specialist prep if the paint is to stay on.

1/72 Caesar Miniatures.

Well priced, great detail, hardly any cleaning up, and best of all - Hard Plastic!

Next please.....

Preiser for German figures and they can be multi-posed.

Cheers,

Do you know the Plastic Soldier Review site? It may take some reading and browsing, but I found it helps a lot in finding good figures in this scale.

Jakko - was thinking about this too as I scrolled down.

John - I can only second what jakko has said. It's a great site and also includes artillery and AT guns because of the figures. Zvezda are very good. Plastic Soldier Company too as others have said although they're at the larger end of 1/72. Caesar are also good too, I have their late WW2 Panzer grenadier set.

Good luck with your search.
