Received in this mornings post was a copy of the book called 'Hitler's Miracle Weapoins' by Friedrich Georg,the book is a wealth of information on the many diverse weapons of mass destruction that 'thankfully' were never used in anger,the extent of thinking really brings it home to you how such weapons could have dramatically changed the world forever,some examples of these evil weapons are-
V2 with liquid oxyen bombs.
Proposal for a ballistic rocket U-Boat project based on the type XXII U-Boat with rocket launch tubes in the conning tower.
EMW A-4 Rocket with fuselage section containing a spherical isotope container.
Nuclear re-entry vehicle/missile.
Himmlers never-realised 'Silent Apocalypse' EMW A-4 with biological weapons warhead.
Yes for sure it brings a cold shudder to think just what could have happened if these had been used in even small numbers,but the fact remains that the proof has now come to light on just how advanced the Luftwaffe really were.
The author has reproduced in model form historical renderings,the most unusual has got to be a V-1 rocket motor forming part of an amphibious vehicle which was intended to be let loose amongst shipping and cause havoc.
