Oh yes Ian go for this one. A great piece of naval history here. Escape from the Yangste River in the best traditions of The Royal Navy.

Matter of interest she was brought out of moth balls to be filmed in the film Yangste incident. But her sister ship did all the dashing about on the river as she was unable to move at that time under her own power. Cannot remember which river but an Essex River from memory.

Nice subject. Great History. Looking forward to this one of the last of the WW11 Frigates (designated Sloop during the war I think).

Some great shots of the sister ship in the film. Some right down at water level. A close up as the bow slices through the water.
