Hi all, thought i'd share this with you.

All you'll need is an old blunt razor saw, a rotary tool, a cutting disc and a grinding stone. Sharpie (we don't need blue dykem) and a ruler.20171016_211541.jpg

With the rotary tool with a grinding stone we need to get rid of all the teeth on the saw making sure it's nice and straight........

Mark the edge of the blade with a Sharpie.............

Now mark the blade at 1mm intervals...........

Now the fun starts. With the cutting disc lightly touch the blade (a little vice may help here) just enough to make an impression. If it looks like a sprocket thats been straighten keep up the good work you're nearly ready for zimmerit time......

You can now cut the tool to how you want it. I made two tools to fit a modelling knife and still had enough spare.........

And this is how it works with no nails......

Hope this helps someone out that loves building german armour but gets there fingers stuck to the photo etch zim, or can't get on with the Tamiya 'fablon' zimmerit.

Have fun, John
