Hi yesterday I used humbrol gloss clear pray can on a transparent part and it went a little white. This is no problem.
But if this happens to all the windows it is bad.
Today I sprayed it on a painted part and it was perfect so what am I doing wrong with the transparent parts because I do not want to mask off 100+ windows when applying my final coat

I find that almost every Aerosol Clear Lacquer, no matter which brand, tends to go an off-white, yellow or even grey over time. It is barely noticeable over darker colours, but it ruins White finishes and transparencies. Humbrol "Clear" (applied by Brush or Airbrush) from the Bottle (not a Spray) is a better option. When it comes to Aerosols, I've found Wilko's Hobby Spray to be acceptable as well as Halfords' Automotive Acrylic Lacquer. But Vallejo Acrylics' Airbrush Polyurathane Gloss comes out top of the list most of the time.
