Just finished this one. I started it about three years ago, but it's been languishing while I made up my mind about painting the body. In the end, rather than build the white box-art version, I painted it the same colour as one that was owned by a work colleague back in the mid-eighties. This was my first go with Zero paints and I was amazed at how quick drying they are. Both the colour coat and clear coat sprayed quite nicely without additional thinning.

Here are the pics.....

The kit itself is pretty old and not the nicest.

Nice build Nick.........those fender flares remind me of my old '68 Corvette. Back in the '70s flares were all the rage......Chevrolet even stocked them in their performance catalog (that supposedly didn't exist). Cheers, Rick H.

A Mk2, that will get a few of us winding our way down memory lane, and a very nice Mk2 it is as well. Great work.

Thanks Guys.

Certainly a trip down memory lane for me. Back when I was at college in the early eighties most people had old Fords although mostly much older than this example. Being would-be motor mechanics they tended to have some often dubious 'modifications'. ;)
