I have decided to forgo my cutty sark as I have found the damage to great for my mind to sort out so I have decided to do these two.

Nice rig Peter, I expect you'll need a whole shelf to park that baby on when you get it finished. Looks to be a real beast! Will you be doing it as shown on the box art or do you have something different in mind? I'll keep an eye on this if you don't mind. :thumb2:

That looks good....I have some of this but have never tried it.....was it a difficult process? Rick H.

Not to difficult you need the alclad gloss black base give it a few light coats making sure it drys between and then the chrome in very light coats giving it chance to dry between it takes a couple of hours but the results can be very good.

There's something rather glamorous about these big American truck. Probably completely wrong like Hollywood's depiction of the Wild West :rolling:
Great start and the chrome is very good.

Thanks for the rundown Peter I do like the results better than the chrome on the truck wheels......if it were mine, think I'd strip the wheels and have a shot at the Alclad treatment for them as well. ;) Rick H.
