Thought I would enlighten the none gardeners with the joys of growing :nerd:

Coming on slowly, quite a difference in the sizes though, some have just germinated as can be seen.

Lovely little 'uns you have there John. Did I ever tell you that SWMBO talks to her plants too when they don't flower or look limp...You're so Dead!, You're So Dead!...and they immediately perk up and flower. :tears-of-joy::smiling6: Lucky I don't get the same treatment :smiling2:

Cheers,
Richard

Looking good green thumb. I planted some of the garden about 2 weeks ago and planted tomatoes Saturday but it’s going to get in the 30s Friday night guess I’ll cover them

John,
I envy your ability to grow things! I have the opposite of green fingers - healthy plants wilt & turn brown if even my shadow falls on them! My parents gave up asking me to 'plant sit', when they were on holiday - even following their meticulous written instructions to the letter, the result was plant genocide..................

Thanks guys, Mike, Richard,Lee, Jim,Dave & Richard .
Not always success Dave, have the odd failure. Think most gardeners talk to their plants, though I don't threaten them, just coax.

Nicely grown Mr Race. What happens next??
Good question ! They need to grow on a bit more, then they can be transplanted into small pots and placed in the green house and some outside. A change to this nice weather is forecast when its will turn colder. :crying::angry:

Remember the care taken to start these seeds off, and then even more care re the watering.
This is how nature takes it when left alone. This morning while touring the Race Towers green house I looked in some pots of Dahlias that are coming along well, in one corner of the pot I spied this.

and in another pot.2020_5b.jpg
and

Ok self set seedlings, in the wild they come from the cold, dry Gobi desert, Seafoam likes humidity to germinate, followed by dry conditions once established. We like to up the game by using heat to bring them on and by keeping check on the watering produces a far better crop.
Of course many 1000s of seeds in the wild that fell would have perished, hence the great No produced but it just goes to show that nature left on it own will produce
